I think the second round could easily have been 10-8 for Saunders. He just dominated the guy. Although, in the UFC, they don't seem to count total scores, just who wins rounds.

I've seen judges scores that indicated they had scored a round 10-8, but it is really rare.

I really hate the ten point must system in MMA though. Fuck the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

I think the judging was pretty rotten in last night's episode. The first round was pretty clearly Dan Barrera's, and the second round was even more clearly Ben's. I would have understood Ben's win if the judges had scored a 10-8 for the second round, but they didn't. Instead they somehow thought Ben won the first round. It seemed everyone on the show, including all of Ben's team, thought Dan won the first round.

Nothing to do with the decision, but was anyone else creeped out by Ben Saunders? I think that dude's got some serious psychological malfunction.

UFC 79 has an awesome card. I'll most likely be @ UFC 78 in NJ...it's only a few hours from my house. Hopefully Bisping's fight isn't boring like when he fought Hamill. I'm bummed about Randy Couture - but I'm kinda excited for Brock Lesnar. Should be interesting to see him make the transition from WWE to UFC.
