I suppose I shouldn't have been shocked, since he's never been on his back in the UFC until now. He better get in the gym and learn some ground game. Overall I thought it was a pretty ho-hum night. I'm glad Bisping lost, I just wish it hadn't been a decision loss.

Bisping was complaining like a little kid after his loss too. After one very quick stoppage win then a VERY questionable decision in his last fight, he needs to STFU IMO.

re: Houston - it's still amazing to me that people are still able to rack up a winning record when they have such huge holes in their game. That's great that you have wicked striking but if you are that clueless on your back you are going to be found out eventually.

Seriously. The fight was close but I agree with the decision 100%- Evans won. After the gift the judges gave Bisping in the Hammil fight, he really just needs to keep his mouth shut.

Yeah he talked about how he wanted to win back the fans who were disappointed with his trash talk after the questionable Hammil decision. His post-fight interview with Joe started out on the right foot but he quickly went back into whining mode.

Protip: If you're trying to "win back" fans who think you're a whinner, don't start a sentence in your post-fight interview with "I know I'll get flamed for this, but ...". He should have stopped talking right there and simply said "Rashad put up a great fight and won, I congratulate him and plan to return to the gym and work on my take down defense and come back stronger than ever".

I liked Bisping from TUF but the shine is off the apple it seems. Rashad wasn't all that impressive other than the take downs but he certainly won the fight. I'm surprised one judge thought Bisping won, crazy.

Rashad's always had good takedowns. He's not really all that great otherwise, but takedowns seem to count for a lot in MMA.
