Power is out because of nasty wind storm that punished the Pacific Northwest. It was all over the news.

Not complaining. I know my life is pretty damn good. Just weird how many times the crazy NW weather has messed with people in my area this year.

Then move to a place that uses fiber optic networking and in-ground power, wuss.

get one of them gasoline-driven generators. we have one that we mostly use for beach parties to run the dj-decks etc.

Sold out everywhere days before the wind storm. Now people are B&E to steal them.

Anyways, still no power going on 84 hours. This is really starting to get old.

I'm with you man, our power went out at 12:19 am on Thursday in sw seattle/white center area. A pole with a transformer snapped in half as the reason. There is power the next block over. I figure that its because there is so much work, removing old pole, putting new one in, and then hooking up the electricty and phones, that the Seattle Light is taking their damn time.

If it werent for the wood stove (which we've also been cooking on) I would have gone nuts earlier. Doing puzzles by candle light sucks. I broke down and am staying with family in Renton who have power. I needed to shower in warm water for longer than 2 minutes. I hope you've got a place you can do that in Master.

Sucks though, no idea when it'll be up. no one I know can recall anything like this happening in their lifetimes. My sister flies in for xmas on the 21st. Yippie. come over to the dark house. My husband flies in on the 23rd. I think we'll end up staying with other family.

F-ing windstroms.. gah. Anyway master, stay warm and clean.
