Because we all know he has a time machine where he traveled into the future, played those, and then went back to June 11th.

  3. Street Fighter 3 third strikes squashes all of Konami's efforts combined.

  4. @_@ I didnt notice the dates.

Um... look at the date on that post, and read what he said. Going by both of those factors, your list narrows and removes most of the best of what you put up.
    Goemon 64
    Suikoden 2
    Salamander 2
Winter Sports(was it by them? anyhoo great game)
    Metal Gear Solid
    Goemon-ps import
    Konami Krazy Racers
[edit] Sqoon beat me to it.

Dracula X trumps any and everything Capcom has ever made. Thus, if I could only pick one game to play, Konami would get the nod.

  8. What a tough one.

Capcom has brought out the GNG series, Super SFII (my favorite of the SF II titles, even over SSFIIT), the SF IIIs, SFA 2 & 3 (the first SFA I couldn't care less for), Mercs, Forgotten Worlds, Side Arms, Section Z, Final Fight, The Punisher, Alien vs. Predator, Warriors of Fate, Dynasty Wars, the 19XX series, and both Striders. They also hosted some third party shmups (Takumi's GigaWing & Mars Matrix, as well as Raizing's Dimahoo) on their CPS II system. If Capcom can be faulted for something, it's probably that there are too many upgrades of SFII. They should have skipped CE & HF and went right to Super.

Konami has Rush N' Attack, M.I.A., Gradius series (with Gradius V on the way), Salamander series, Xexex, Contra series (I'll pretend L.O.W. and Contra Adventure don't exist), Yie-Ar Kung Fu, Metal Gear Solid, A-Jax, various Bemani titles including Drummania, etc. Unfortunately they have overdone the sports titles in the late 90s, and Martial Champion is rather bland. The Universal Studios deal jumps the shark. The decision NOT to bring Gradius Gaiden and Salamander Deluxe Pack Plus to the USA is a crime.

I'll vote for Capcom by a narrow margin.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

Ah, but so is the decision to not bring X-Men vs Street Fighter, Marvel vs Street Fighter, D&D Collection, etc.

  10. As much as I love them both, Konami ended up making one of my favorite games of all time and the only one to queston if I should finally take Sonic 3 & Knuckles down from that throne-

Mmm...thats one sexy piece of machine.
