Yes, he was more corrupt than any Kennedy or Clinton could ever imagine. He was also a paranoid schizophrenic and he got every dictator's best friend (Kissinger) onto the political scene.

Bush SR= Nothing, I have Nothing, all he did was ride Reagans wave -1

Kennedy= Cuban Missle Crisis, and he died, that made him a legend. Although my dad was a SEAL and he was very adament about forming a Navy covert squad in his presidency. +1 (Mostly for the formation of NSWG1 (Navy Special Warfare Group One) who has seen more combat in more places than the army and marines combined.

Carter= LOL -1

Reagan= Assisted in the downfall of our greatest enemy, booming economy.

Let me do break this bullshit down and honor the man this thread is supposed to be about:

Nixon: Brought in Kissinger, prolonged Vietnam even though he claimed he had a super secret plan for ending it, kissed Chairman Mao's wrinkled ass, but did create OSHA and the EPA (+/- 0)

Ford: Got the US out of Vietnam, signed the Helsinki Accords, but kept Kissinger around and pardoned a criminal (+/- 0)

Reagan: Oversaw and funded the murder, rape, and assassination of thousands in Latin America with money gained by selling weapons to the fundamentalist regime of Iran. Single handedly gutted any progressive program that had come from the past 20 years before him. (-10)

Bush Sr: Took us to war based on a lie. (-5)

G. W. Bush: Took us to war based on a lie, indulged in rampant cronyism that cost thousands of lives in New Orleans, has done everything within his power to roll back all pro-environmental legislation, oh and to beat everything he brought that shitheel Kissinger BACK INTO POLITICS. (-50)

You can rag on Carter and Clinton all you want (you also forgot JFK got the US to the moon and back) but don't parade your gaggle of war criminals and corporate lapdogs around as being paragons of virtue.

If Gerald Ford is anything, he is the best Republican President of the modern era. He was actually an honest, decent man who made his only mistake because of his friendship to a criminal. His death is a shame, and the loss of a national treasure.
