I ran into Bushwacker Luke at PR ComicCon yesterday. He was selling photos and signing autographs. Everyone walked by him without giving him a second look, lol. I remembered who he was after he stopped me with a "hey there, mate." He actually looks pretty good for his age.

Both Highspots and Smart Mark Video are having sales for the holiday weekend if you're into getting some indie wrestling DVDs. I picked up a bunch of PWG from Highspots and I'm going to get some CHIKARA and CZW from Smart Mark.

Theres just something about Big Show thats docile and calm. Even when hes hitting Funkasaurus with part of a table and throwing Kofi through a wall. He just never seems to have that killer instinct like he should.

I like idea of his push though. Makes the character more entertaining.

The only time I ever liked Show was when he had Paul Heyman as a manager. They've done the Show is a normal wrestler who loses all the time except for those sporadic 3 month periods every other year where he is an angry, unstoppable giant for so long now that I can never take him seriously again.

I feel the same way. He'd have to do something really refreshing to change up his brand image. He's much better as a big nuisance in the background Laurinitis controls. For example - Brock and Big Show working together would be a great destructive force (probably since Brothers of Destruction). They should build them up and have UT and Kane come back and fight them at next year's Mania as a team (or Survivor Series).

Big Show could use a new name too, IMO. Big Show was silly when he came in to fight Austin, and it's grown on him over the years but it's still kinda dumb.

During the most recent episode of WWE Superstars Matt Striker descirbed Claudio C / Antonio Cesaro as having roots in the "CHIKARA style", lol. Which is right in both senses of the expression of course! You should watch that match, he's in the first segment here and it's a nice long bout with underrated midcarder Tyson Kidd.

CHIKARA had their 2nd ever iPPV last night which I will hopefully be watching the replay of today with a group of friends over. I've been staying away from any news sites to avoid any spoilers but I did have a friend who watched text me that they announced the first team for King of Trios this year. For those that don't know, King of Trios is a yearly tournament that's over 3 days that's all trios matches (3 person teams). The first team announced is Team ECW with Dreamer, Lynn, and Scorpio.

Randy Orton had too much too young and the possibility is strong that he will be fired for steroid use and weed use. I don't see WWE letting him get to TNA but he could be relegated to mid card work for a long time.

Orton at the mid-card = too expensive so he would be fired as a cost-cutting measure. Let him go to TNA, it won't make a damn difference in that shit company. I supported them for years and I just can't do it anymore. ROH has turned to shit too, they aren't using the Young Bucks or TJP for a while to save on money since they require flights from CA.
