Thread: Everything You Need for the PSP...PART II

  1. Nope, I'm pretty sure you can do it all on the slims (even 1.5)

    What I found...

I do not sell hardware. I have affiliates that do but may cost more than retail and they do not have CFW. If they did, they would charge you extra. Best option would be to buy it yourself and have a friend who has CFW install it for you or have someone on TNL buy it for you, install CFW for you and ship it back to you.
I was hoping that there was some cool homebrew music player, I am hating the native PSP one. A sort function would solve so many inadaquacies (sp?). Anyhow, as far as a slim with CFW, I could buy one and do it on my own but I really don't want to. I would gladly give some monies to someone for theirs. Or actually, do you wanna sell me a Pandora's battery, I have money for you.

Need my Pandora to fix other PSPs. If you can get a PSP battery (phat), I can do it for you if I can remember how to.

You can try homebrew apps such as Xandu Media Player, iRShell for music player

  4. Is it hard to find the phat battery's? I'll see if I can find one. This'll work on the slims right? Or, if you've got one, you can convert it and I'll pay you for it.

Ima go check out those players right now. Thanks.

  5. Just watch out. I've heard reports that some batteries won't take the Pandora flashing. It was a while ago, so it may have been solved.

  6. Great, and my luck means thats what I'll get.

Yes, some batteries will not work. Even those bootleg Sony batteries. Here is a list

    Working:

    - Sony "standard" Li-ion 1800 mAh
    - Sony PSP-280 2200mAh
    - Datel, PSP Battery 3600 mAh (X2)
    - Datel, PSP Battery 1800 Max Power
    - Datel, PSP Battery GO MAX (Model # GM1000, uses AAA batteries) note: If u remove the batteries, it resets the serial back to all 0's

    Not working:

    - 3.6v 3600 mAh Battery Pack (Silver letters) (Model PSP-360) (Fake)
    - 2600 mAh Mega Battery Pack (Fake)
    - Atomic Battery Pack 3.6V 1800mAh
    - Sony PSP-280 2200mAh (Fake)
    - Sony PSP Bloc-Battery pack 3.6v 1800 mAh
    - Battery 3600mAh, unknown brand, (china made model NK-RH008) (Fake)
    - Battery Pack, unknown brand, (lithium) 3.6v 3600 mAH (Fake)
    - Intec 1800 mAh Li-ion
    - Intec 2200 mAh
    - UltraLast e-Boost 3.7v 2200mAh Li-PO battery

Take a look at my affiliates for the Datel batteries. I know they carry them. I dont think I have any PSP batteries. Only PSP batteries I have are Slims.

Sorry Dyne, I was wrong, still no 1.5 for the slims.

  9. So I just got CFW 3.90 M33-3 installed on my PSP phat. Do I still have to avoid playing new games that auto update the firmware? Sorry for the noob questions but I just don't want to do something stupid here and have to start from scratch. I also have a PSP slim so only using the phat for homebrew/emulators would be easy but I know a few people that only have the slim PSP and they would like to be able to do both. I just want to be able to tell them they can/can't use it for both and not have to worry about firmware auto updates.

  10. You should be fine with CFW 3.90 M33-3. In fact, CFW allows you the option to update the custom firmware through the PSP's update firmware option. I'm not sure about the recent games, but I was able to play Patapon and Echochrome without any problems with CFW 3.90 M33-2.
