  1. i think there is a youtube plug in

  2. The rumor going around now (that 1up podcast seems to have leaked) is the new psp is going to be known as the "PSP Go!"

Its a slide up screen, with no UMD drive. Apparently sony is going full DD with the PSP, offering whats said to be 100 titles new and old to go online with the launch of the device this fall.

Also, the rumor includes retail store kiosks where you can bring your UMD games and it will rip them to a storage device for you to play your games on it.

IT will come in 8gb or 16gb internal storage.

  3. I do not like not having physical media. -_-

  4. I do not like having the option of physical media taken away from me. I won't be buying a system like that until it's sub $100 and the games are all $10 or less. which will never happen

I feel torn on it. On one hand, I hate going into stores and buying stuff and I don't want to worry about stuff getting damaged or shelf space. Plus, if they pass on some of the savings to the consumer, than awesome.
On the other hand, I want the ability to sell something if I don't want it any longer.

If every game has a demo (unlikely), then the digital pill will be much easier to swallow. Guess we'll see...

  6. I'm not big into the PSN way of life, but is downloading a game for PSP actually any cheaper than buying it at a store? My guess is that there will be some justification if/when all games go DD that the price still has to remain incredibly inflated.

Plus, if the next PSP bucks UMD, fuck them. I've already spent enough money on physical media for their specific portable. Telling me that all those purchases have to be made a second time just because they feel its hip to have solid state is fucking loony.

Similar to B-Vi's post above, read this. Focus on the NO FUCKING SECOND ANALOG part. Sales -1.

    -_-

    I do not like that.

  9. I saw one earlier today and the first thing that I noticed was no second analog.

Without that second analog, this thing better have the best d-pad ever for 2D sidescrollers, since that's the only thing that will be useful on it.
