    I've only played the demo, but if it holds up then this statement is 100% true.

  4. I'm about 1/4th of the way through the Hero's storyline, and I'm still having a blast. The concept is simple, and stages are over quick, so so far, it hasn't lost any of its charm. And I haven't really touched the other three game modes yet.

  5. They released the Evil Lord demo the other day but I'm taking a pass. I played the hero's demo 3-4 times and that's enough preview for me. Just one question, though- you can redo levels to aim for a better ranking, right?

  6. Yup. You just can't use any weapons/armor that you got after that stage when redoing them (as it would "destroy time/space continuity" as the Goddess says).

  7. I tried the HMH demo and I don't get it. I just run from town to town (and back if I have to get more time) and then run around until I am better than the boss and then run to the boss.

  8. So I've got this PSP Go now, and I'm in the mood for a shoot-em-up for it. I've never gotten into the genre before, but the awesome videos in the Cave thread are enticing me (though i can't see myself importing a 360 just yet).

    Being limited to downloadable PSP games and PSone Classics, I need some recommendations. "Flashy" and "not-insanely-difficult" are two things I'd like to have. The only thing I've considered so far is R-Type Delta, but I'm not a huge fan of running a 4:3 game on an already-small screen, so a widescreen game would be rad. Is there anything I'm overlooking? Maybe something in one of those compilations?

  9. Three Wonders (one of the games in the Capcom Classics Remixed Collection) has a good horizontal scroller. It's originally non-widescreen too, though.

    I can't think of any that you can get right now that are PSP native. They better make more games available on the store. Thexder NEO looks cool. It's not quite the same gENRE (edit lol), but it's cool.
