Simple question that has probably been answered before: what's the best compression to use on CSOs? Does higher compression make games slower?

I think I use 9 for my compression. I dont notice a problem on them.

EEE runs perfectly for me.

Maybe it's a memory stick brand issue.

I finally got my hands on a first ed copy of LCS and I have a quick question. Is the 3.10OE-A firmware still THE custom firmware to use? I'm wanting to do a mix of legit games and emulators, mostly.

Yes (OE-A' aka OE-A2 is the latest - http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=47894). There is no newer one even though Sony released a 3.11 firmware. Dark_AleX stated that there was no reason to release a new custom firmware since there was no major change.

Alrighty, I have that as well as an SNES, Genny, and TG16 emulator on it. I'm using Dgen 1.7, HuE .55 and Snes9xTYL .4.2. The genny one works well after tweaking the speed settings, the TG16 one is nearly flawless, but the SNES one seems a tad lacking. A great emulator, and very playable, but not perfect. Is there anything else decent worth trying?
