If you are into latin chicks then south TX is for you. Once you get into the Rio Grande Valley, you essentially are in Mexico. I haven't spent enough time in any of the major cities to comment on the chicks, but word on the street is that something in the water makes TX chicks hot. Real hot.

Houston: Ghetto? LOL sure. Every city has em, ours are cool. The total lack of zoning adds to the charm. Where else can you go and find a High School across from a Dairy shipping building which is next to a strip club?
San Antonio: Like a more sceneic and touristy Houston but minus the really cool underbelly.
Austin: Hate this place, honestly (see my thread on being in Austin), but it's cool for some people so that means something.
Dallas: Sucks.

At least in Austin, San Antonio and Dallas, you'll know the good side of the city from the bad. In Houston, it's small pockets of good, with a ton of bad surrounding it.

I pretty much agree with this, except I have a love/hate thing with Austin. I love how it's so lively, and you can go out at 4am and still feel safe/that there's something going on. Yet, I do realize the city is full of cunty scenesters that annoy the shit out of me. They are unreliable pests that just suck the lifeblood out of you. It's hard to find good friends here, while Houston there's more genuine people.

Dallas....I dunno. I guess I'll find out in a month.
