Amanda Waller got one hell of a make over since I last saw her.
The intro to Resurrection Man could have been one degree better if the two orderlies saw him and ran off ala Shadowrun for SNES
Amanda Waller got one hell of a make over since I last saw her.
I checked out a total of two books- Action Comics and Animal Man. I was looking forward to Action, simply because for years I've wanted to read a book starring the Superman from the first volume or two of the Action Comics Archives. That character bears no relation to anything with the name Superman on it today, and Action #1 brought him back. It's only for a limited time, which makes me sad, but I'll take it while it lasts.
Animal Man I picked up because I heard lots of good things about it. I enjoyed the hell out of it, and am looking forward to seeing where it goes.
As far as the rest of this is concerned, the New 52 just doesn't trip my interest. I'm burned out on DC due to everything since the wretched Identity Crisis. Most of my super-hero fix comes from Image and Marvel, with stuff like Invincible and Gladstone's School for World Conquerors being great month in and month out.
