  2. What was Sienkewicz deal with inking the old timers in the 90s? I bought a bunch of stuff I wouldn't, because he was involved. I love Adams too, but I've not picked anything up by him since the early 2000s. Has Charest done anything since Wildcats? lol.
Stephen Platt? Doesn't he take over a year to do a book? I did a search on him and found rips of some How to Draw Comics dvd he did. LOL.
He's doing an X men/ Avengers variant cover.

  6. Adams has a massive chip on his shoulder due to never getting Jim Lee numbers, I think.

  7. You'd think he would considering how much output he had...

that was sarcasm. Even when I was sucking Jim Lee off, I would have much rather have read an Art Adams book than a Lee one. But unlike Adams, there was a time where I could go to the store any given month and pick up a Lee drawn comic. Granted, that didn't last more than a couple of years, but I would be willing to bet that there are more X-men comics drawn by Lee than all of Adams comics ever combined.

  8. Adams was so ahead of his time. I'm sure everyone from Lee's early era idolized Adams.

    Adgardian Wars still looks awesome.
look here, upon a sig graveyard.

  9. Ooooh, Asgardian Wars! I love that story.

I remember when he used to do the annuals for Uncanny X-Men. Adams, Rick Leonardi, and Alan Davis were always the coolest guest artists.

  10. Recently got back into comics with some old trading cards and 80s issues of random Marvel stuff. Decided to give something new a try and started with the first two issues of Avenging Spider-Man. I had no clue until I bought this that a Red Hulk existed and it wasn't Bruce Banner.
