I think the BIGGEST question on everybody's mind is this:
How many new Deadpool titles will come of this? 4? 10?
So, Stark DIDN'T break the Phoenix force and it then inhabited 5 mutants? Cyclops, Emma Frost, Colossus, Namor, and Magik??
Oh right that happened in June in Avengers vs XMen issue 5.
Nick Fury's son isn't black and was originally Sgt. Marcus Johnson???
(Battle Scars issue 5)
Cable didn't get the technovirus cure from Hope??
Oh look ...

Every once in a while I wonder what's going on in continuity-central, and then I read stuff like this and don't any more. Bendis's New Avengers was fun, but basically over. Morrison's Action Comics seems to be mostly free of the DC universe. The rest of it just gets sillier by the minute.
If Bendis ever writes the Luke Cage/Jessica Jones series he's been half-doing for years in New Avengers, the rest of the Marvel universe could fall off a cliff for all I care.

Reading books is a different experience than reading Cliffs Notes.
Reading a wikipedia plot summary is not the same as watching a film.
Reading a review of an album is not the same as listening to music.
Don't just read summaries of comics and expect to be entertained.
If you like the writing in any given Bendis book, there's a pretty good chance you'd like the writing in all of his books, even if you don't like where it takes the characters, you'll probably enjoy the ride there.
Chef Bowers, it's great that you read some more detailed accounts of AvX (it was clear you were just skimming the first time) but you might feel different about the events of the story if you'd actually READ the story.
I don't really care what you people do, but I really enjoy some of these stories, and I would probably enjoy them less if I was just reading summaries instead of the actual books.
AvX has been interesting to say the least. They're taking Cyclops in an different direction.
Does it feel true to his character though? Im not sure when they changed him ( but i would guess it was morrison) bit the cyclops that endorsed wolverines x force never rang true to me.
Killing people has never been his thing.
