So the new Fantastic Four- how the heck does it have the smart Banner Hulk in it? Am I missing a part of current Marvel continuity? Is this even in Marvel continuity any more?

The art in FreakAngels is really starting to bug me. Every member of the cast seems to convey emotions that only vary between slightly disinterested and slightly uncomfortable.

Picked up Wolverine #66, first of Millar's "Marvel Mad Max" storyline. Not much time for anything interesting to happen, but I got a kick out of them driving around in the Spider Mobile.

Also, yeah, Ultimates 3 sucks. I'm not a Joe Mad fan, but I can objectively say he's talented. HOWEVER, Joe Mad is just about the exact OPPOSITE stylistically from what the Ultimates is supposed to be. I'm not saying no one besides Hitch can do it, but Joe Mad is last one who should be. And, as if in recognition of the visual change, the writing has gone from intellegent and interesting to boring and melodramatic.

Land maybe. I liked his Ultimate FF zombies storyline quite a bit.

Land's artwork is good but it looks airbrushed and stiff.

FF sucks anyway (Reed should have been shot in the face a long time ago).

Ha! Ultimate FF was actually pretty good up to a point.

You're out of your mind about Land, IMO. The worst thing you could say about him is he uses photo reference*. Go read Ultimate FF 30-33.
