    Nextwave vol 2.
    End of an era ; ;
    They fight dinosaurs.
    Broccoli dressed in superhero outfits.
    monkies dressed up as wolverine.
    Modoks with elvis pompadours.
    Naked ninjas.
    cyborg pirates.
    Steven hawking clones with glowing eyes
    planes that have been fused with snakes.
    and a Giant Red T-Rex that drinks champaign.

    Such a great book.

    The "Joker's Asylum" Penguin and Poison Ivy books were decent, I liked the kind of Chris Bachalo-looking art in the Penguin book especially. Nice crime yarns, Batman figures in as a cameo in either of 'em. How was the Joker one?

  10. I can't believe I passed on the Scud collection, but Zot! came out this week. There was no competition.

    This week had a really bizarre late 80s, early 90s vibe to it. Zot!, Scud, Nocturnals (passed, because I really don't remember much about it), and Ambush Bug. Possibly some other stuff too, but with the cold I've got this week I'm lucky to remember going to the comic store, much less what they had on the racks.
