You know, "Theo"?
I remember that episode of the Cosby Show. Theo Huxtable had a learning disorder thanks to being irradiated with gamma rays.
Also, you know that "Afro-Hulk" will be evil.
Because he's black.
Yeah man! It's like getting paid to smoke weed and fuck mad bitches!
WHITE BITCHES!
The cherry on top of it all is that these bitches will buy you anything you want!
You walk into a store, and you don't have to give into the urge to steal shit, cause the stupid overweight cunt who hates her daddy will flip the bill!
So I've been reading a pant load of old(ish) comics. Since I kept hearing good things about Hush I decided to give that a go. And christ was it awful, I love the idea behind Hush but the story was a fucking mess. I usually really like Loeb but this was just crap, it just feels like the story never came together. Why Hush hates Batman just feels forced, and the confrontation at the end just felt empty. And the thing with the Riddler just didn't make sense at all.
I followed this up with Hush returns, which I felt was actually much better. The story was just more coherent, but it still feels like they just have no idea how to use this character. I'm reading all the Dini detectives right now too so I'm on Heart of Hush. And damn it I wish Dini had just written this character from the start because he he gives him a much mroe believable and sensible flavor.
I've also been reading All star super man which is just all around solid stuff. Although I don't particularly care for the art.
Picked up:
Scott Pilgrim: Full Color Odds and Ends 2008
I'm entirely happy with this. It's a nice hold-over until volume 5 comes out! Collects the various one-pagers, ads, and Free Comic Book Day stuff. Picked up from Oni's site.
The Umbrella Academy
Amazing stuff, one of the best openers in memory. Very Mignola-ish, some of the silliest/awesomest action dialog. White Violin is the best villain design ever. Recommended! Apparently the writer is the singer in some MTV band. Do not allow this to scare you off, it's good.

I think it's funny that you like this so much since the writer's whole aim in comics is to ape Grant Morrison and this book is directly inspired by Morrison's vastly superior Doom Patrol.
They even had an on-stage gay lovefest at SDCC:
