Yeah you're right. Because obviously everyone across the world uses the internet in the exact same way. Not at all sure why you're trying to defend Apple here. Not including Flash is a pretty big mistake. And I'm typing this from my MacBook which I pretty much love more than life itself.

im not defending apple, i am just saying. Flash would be nice, but like most technology now adays it can and will be updated, apple already said they will be providing new applications and software updates. Just cause Safari doesnt support flash, doesnt mean it always wont. Hell, the PSP eventually got flash support.

He's not saying it won't, he's saying that Apple shouldn't say it does something that it's not. As for what Flash is good for, websites and games. Ads are generally javascript.

For a phone, yeah, it's really fucking awesome. But it's still not everything it's being touted as.

long story short.

this phone is fucking awesome, amazingly suprised about it.

Hurry apple and update the phone so theres no more lacking features.

Also, edge speeds are fine. Its no wifi, but its certainly not a slow to crawl itll NEVER load scenario.

TNL seems like too much sometimes for the browser, time to go into tnl options then, a lot of images here.

So far the phone rocks, but my biggest pet peeve is that the headphone jack is deep enough in the phone that if its not a slim and straight audio plug then it wont fit in the iphone, so my sony headphones dont work.

Also, no right click or options to lets say, save the image your looking at also lame.

No custom ringtones yet, engadget and a bunch of other sites have shown that its coming to itunes soon, whether they charge you or dont.

Wallpaper seems useless, since it seems it only there when you unlock your phone or when someone calls.

Google Maps is amazingly useful, since it also carries information like phone numbers and web addresses for stores ect. I searched for a car audio place, i thought it was called 'eds audio' i searched it and it found it "Al and Ed's Audio" clicked the arrow, clicked the phone number, was on the phoen with them.

Ipod works like ti looks and should. The headphones that came with are ok, and the click button works fine.

About the need to speed dial. You can add names/numbers to your favorite list for faster access than your big contact list. We need to create an iphone widgets thread for all the new stuff and updates.
