Seriously? I don't know if there are different ways to read them, but with ComiXology, I can almost enjoy reading them on my iPhone, since it switches from panel to panel and auto-zooms large panels to the different dialog bubbles. Can you be more specific and/or in depth?
I'm with Diff. The mini is the perfect size. Large enough that it is always useful but never too large to get in the way. If gaming is a priority, maybe wait for a retina version, though I personally don't think the difference is that big a deal.
I upgraded to the 4 from a 1 when it came out. Retina makes a world of difference. Though the old screen was still pretty damn good IMO. I can see why people would prefer the mini. My wife has a kindle fire and the size is great for one handed reading. The ipad sucks for that. But overall I love it. I use it constantly.
I got the lightning-> USB cord ($25, thanks Apple) but now I can hook up my spiffy new camera directly to the iPad, edit photos in iPhoto, delete the ones I don't want, and upload them to Dropbox once I am done. This is perfect for traveling. I can totally see why people feel they don't need a computer anymore.
