It's strange. I didn't realize how much I relied on the appearance of the icons (in menus, etc) until they were *gasp* different! Overall I like the cosmetic changes like moving to and from apps, interface and menus. Everything is really slick and polished feeling. It's a pretty big change from iOS 6 but it doesn't necessarily feel unnatural.
I'm just guessing, having rarely used a device running Android, that this incorporates some ideas from the competition. Which isn't a bad thing at all.
EDIT: Oh, and I wish there was an option to change the color palette for the stock icons and interface, but I guess that's never really been an option before.

Reason: What what?
The folders appear to have unlimited space and you can HIDE THE FUCKING NEWSSTAND APP IN A FOLDER finally. I am also loving the minimalism that most every UI is moving towards. Fucking finally. I'm so sick of drop shadows, lighting with no source and textured everything I don't even.
