I really want to try 7 but I keep reading about a lot of glitches this early in the beta. Maybe in a few weeks I will try. I use my phone and pad way to much to jack one up until fall.

Yup, I read it after I posted. Bummer but I will wait. Read some sweet bricked unit stories earlier. It's very few but it would totally happen to me.

After Foxconn, it's hard to believe this is a coincidence:

According to a report from Reuters, the U.S.-based China Labour Watch (CLW) has discovered numerous infractions at the Taiwanese company Pegatron Corp., including forced overtime, low wages and the use of underage workers.

A report listed 86 labour rights violations - 36 unlawful and 50 ethical - across 3 Pegatron factories between March and July this year. An Apple spokesperson, Carolyn Wu, claimed that the company had no knowledge of Pegatron's illicit practices, and its own independent surveys - the most recent being in June - found no serious breaches.

It's hard to find things you don't want to find.

I caved and got an iPad. I'm still kind of getting my head around iOS. Can you really not put your movies on the thing without converting them to MP4? That seems insane to me.

Also, what are the best apps and games that aren't on Android? I have a lot of catching up to do.

Well that's just it. It's too simple. I'm kind of feeling like "where's the rest of it?" Like I can't really put a file on it unless it's something that plays in iTunes, and I'm sure there's a way around that because I know people do all kinds of shit with these things but it feels weird to me right now.

I can't remember the last time I hooked up my iPad or iPhone to iTunes and I play anything I need or want.
