Well at least try pulling them out from the back wall. You can do that easily. See if you can tell the difference
Yeah, space is the main limitation on moving the stuff out. I plan on boosting the center channel up a bit higher at the very least. Everything sounds pretty good, though my room is kind of wacky in that the back area is larger than the part where the TV is, so it kind of screws up the surround speaker setup.
Thanks for the suggestions, I'm no A/V expert so stuff like that helps. In a perfect world I'd have all the room I need. Luckily I've got a pretty understanding wife that appreciates all these toys as well
Craigslist. The two side positions on the big couch recline, too. Pretty pimp.
Actually, most of my house was furnished from Craigslist. Got a full dining room setup from an estate sale for like $700.

I bought a couple of, um, cheap ($125) couches off of Craigslist because I really can't throw any kind of loot around until my divorce is finalized. Christ, nearly 3 fucking years and I'm still hesitant to buy new (anything) furniture for fear that she's going to think I'm rich.
Can't wait until this shit is over. =)
Very nice K3V.
Its been interesting to watch people's setups progress from sideways TVs with 20 consoles hooked up to them into living room's for fancy post dinner party conversations.
TNL is maturing. Weird.
