It is possible to play HD content on the eVo, however the native resolution is 480p (15:9 widescreen). The eVo firmware will scale down large input to 800x480. It still looks great, but it's not pixel-for-pixel.

Projectors are a big pain-in-the-ass. They're awesome for cheap bastards who think they're beating the system by projecting onto a blank wall, though.

HDTV's are overrated and a waste of money, there are these HD projectors that come in kits that play a way bigger higher rez image than most HDTV's and are a fraction of the price. My lumenlab projector kicks some serious ass, it hypnotizes me sometimes into playing games like ASS Creed just because they look so good.

For your sake I hope you are a joke account, because otherwise someone needs to take you out back and put you out of your misery.

When was the last time you saw a projector, let alone an HD projector, they've come a long way.

You're not using an HD projector. A good HD projector for a home theater would probably run you 10x - 20x what you paid for yours. (Seriously a really good HD digital projector is probably gonna run you 5 - 10k) What you're using is basically a VGA level projector. You're not even getting close to 720p let alone 1080p on it.

I should say you could probably get a decent projector (just the projector) for less than that, BUT you're going to need a really good screen, that has a nice brightness. They do sell some wall paints that act the same as a screen, but last I remember reading on the subject you're better off getting a screen and a good screen is gonna cost you a couple grand as well.
