Yes, I know that there is an "Official Wii Thread" and no, I didn't want to read through all 10+ pages of it. Anyways, the dilemma is that both the Nyko Wii Charge Station ($29.99) and the Joytech Wii Charging Dock ($39-40) are coming out on January 22-23, 2007 and I need help choosing. Has anyone heard if one is supposed to be better than the other? I know that the Nyko just has the two Wii mote charge spaces, while the Joytech has the two Wii mote charge spaces, plus two shelf things on each side to hold two Nunchuks as well.

Pick one and buy it. If you don't like it, return it and get the other one. Don't like that one...return your Wii.
I can't believe this wasn't a SpoDaddy thread. We better check IPs. I think Calliander is secretly dating SpoDaddy.
Damn Nyko wont respond to me. Plus, I lost the email contact for the person who sent me a shit load of PSP stuff. With Joytech, I sent another email.

I had a Nyko charge station for the original GBA back in the day, and that thing fucking sucked. The cradle was so cheaply made that it was difficult to put the GBA in it in a way that would actually make it charge, and the batteries didn't last nearly as long as regular (cheap) AA's.
In that same GBA, some 2500 mAh NiMH rechargables (that cost 5 bucks for a 4 pack) last FOREVER. That's what I use in my Wiimotes now.
Buy rechargeable AA batteries. You can get a set with a 15 minute charger for about $30 (mine came with six AAs). They charge much faster than any video game-only charger, are better quality batteries (I have Duracell), and can be used for other things if you need to. No real reason to buy a proprietary charger for any of the consoles.
I've been thinking about getting a rechargeable set of batteries for the Wii soon. Any links to one that are known to work well?
