Thread: Good DJ Mixes

  1. This mix is a monster. 149 megs.

  2. Oh ok then.

I've been meaning to buy some new webspace anyways. I'll get on that tonight.

I'm sure they weren't but the games seem thrown in as an afterthought.

  5. You could not hear so much as a "bloop" for like three minutes and then he remembered what he was doing and jammed a bunch of re-timed theme music for twenty seconds before trailing off again.

Sad part is, that's the one that'll get the most listeners.

Video games are an enormous un-mined sample resource. To misuse them so is quite idiotic and lazy. Why even bother put Nintendo in the title?

And, also, why do producers rely on the same games in mixes like this?

  7. I don't think it was ever supposed to be the 'nintendo mashup' that you guys were expecting. The logo and name do kinda make you expect a bit more, but really, I think it's just a nod to how those 8 bit games have influenced the dubstep / grime / chiptune scenes.

In short, stop being fags. There are some fucking massive tracks in that set. The track at 26:50 is worth it on it's own.

Anyway, I have some more hot-shit sets that I'll throw up tonight.
