Let's talk about.......Dark Cloud

I was just recently playing this again, and I discovered it isn't that bad. I mean, it's not great, but it's alright. The graphics are good, and the music works. It's the repetitive combat and cumbersome micro-management with your weapon and thirst, and the fact that there's NO WAY of getting an antidote to a status effect that an enemy inflicts on you, is what bothers me. The Georama system is unique, and I like building my hometown, but those factors nearly ruin it all. To anyone who has actually beat this game; does it get better, or are those dungeons the only ones in the game?
