I'm fine with them making up new stories or scenes on their own but that shit and that awful theon prison break scene don't leave me very hopeful for the next seasons where they're going to really need to improvise outside the books.
The awfulness of Dany's character is kind of finally coming through (as well as the other stuff around her storyline.) She's such a one dimensional mary sue and i have a feeling her storyline is going to get more ridiculous as the writers struggle to keep her presence in the show.
Dany's whole existence seems to be "float around in the background and just walk in when everyone else has killed each other off". There was never much to her in the show.
nor the books, except for random sexual encounters/experiences!
