Hajime no Ippo is the greatest Anime of all time (okay, one of the greatest). Because of this, I've always wondered how other sports manga/animes measured up. There's just something awesome about translating sports to an over-exaggerated anime setting.

Ippo's a pretty standard sports series. You shouldn't have trouble finding something of similar quality.
