What Are You Listening to? Part 2

Dillinger Four - CIVIL WAR - This is a fairly solid album, but its a bit of a let down. I've spun this thing about 25 times in the last two days and its still not as ass kicking an album as it should be.

The Dopamines - Self Titled - Now this is an ass kicking album. Probably my album of the year so far.

I've been listening to Fu Manchu and Nebula. Still. I also listen to these two videos:

I never saw Joe Walsh before he was some creepy drunk unclefucker looking dude going on Dave Letterman all the time. Plus he was in the Eagles which detracts from a guy's legacy like motherfucker. This was a real eye opener.

I also listen to myself alot lately. It seems that almost every time I pick up a guitar I come up with some riff or little licky thing that I like. But as I have no songs or even any deeper inspiration to create them I record these riffs with my digital camera because it's getting to a point that I can't remember them all. The videos I take of these all sort of suck because I usually just rush to record these things before they naturally morph into something else and I forget the original. So they're just crappy little reminders that I listen to on the computer and then work to tighten up or otherwise tweak them a little. They'll become songs soon enough and then everybody can hear.
