There are more people who think the Wii is a complete waste than people who think it's great on TNL. There are several people who bought one and never turn it on, like kingoffighters.

Now waitaminute, don't drag me into this. We loved Wii Sports, played the heck out of it for about 3 weeks. Got Rayman and thought it sucks, traded it for Super Swing Golf and while it is fun, I rather play something else. I basically got it to replace my Cube (and got good trade in value for it). So it was still a worthwhile purchase for me to "upgrade" and replace a dead machine (GCN).
