Wait, I swear I've heard this story, but not with the Lucas crying part.

As I recall, Lucas, Ali, myself, and maybe one other person were walking back to the Metro after one of the exhibition days of E3 2003 when Lucas kicked into Nintendo/Sega super fanboy mode. He was raving about how Nintendo and Sega had such incredible showings this years and had all of the best games of the show (this was the year that Sega was showing off those shitty Vectorman and Altered Beast remakes and not much of anything else, and the year before the DS and Twilight Princess was announced, so Nintendo had nothing but that Pac Man connectivity game and Four Swords). Ali basically called him on it and tore him apart in front of all of us. He did it totally calmly, but Lucas got so frustrated and embarrassed that he just started acting like a 6 year old and calling Ali names and basically just throwing a fit over it.

He didn't weep or anything, but it was a really beautiful moment.
