Right, he wasn't actually shown full body in that episode but he was in the Super Best Friends episode. And regardless of all that, none of those were denounced by CAIR or American Muslims, who are the focus of this whole thread. So, the Danish cartoons example isn't pertinent. It never was.

What I've been trying to say, and naturally no one is listening, is that while it's wrong to penalize someone just for offending others, it's equally wrong to order people not to be offended. The university is the only party in the wrong in this instance. That's all I'm saying.

I dont know.....(correct me If I am reading you incorrectly here) It may be wrong to expect people to feel a certain way about something, but when someone is offended by someone else nowadays, they expect retribution. If the university did not act, the Muslim association in reference would pressure them to. They simply acted in a CYA manner. I think that a person has a right to feel a certain way, but common sense should dictate whether a person is in the wrong. I think that these guys did all of this "too soon" as it were, and they should at least sit through the torture of sensitivity training or something. Community service is a decent idea. But other than that, they just did something in poor taste. No one should rush to the panic button like we have been lately.
