Thread: Lost

  1. Hay, Kate cried again.

  2. What a weak ass episode, maybe even weaker than Kates.

We did however get clarification about whether or not Sawyer's dad got conned. There was some debate about that because Locke appeared to be on good terms with his dad in the alternate universe. I think it's safe to say that 1977 could be the point where the alternate universe whatever branches off, if indeed it is an alternate universe.

They showed her crying in the preview last week. You lose.

  3. Smokey slapping the hell out of Claire was awesome.

"All creatures will DIE, and all things will be BROKEN: That is the law of the SAMURAI."

  4. Someone posted this thought on another forum: Think back to season 3 where Locke blew up the sub Jack and company wanted to use to get off the island. Imagine now if Jack blows up the sub so Flocke can't use it to leave the island.

  5. It has to be an alternate universe. Where the fuck did Sawyer find the time to become a cop before flying to Australia?

    You're not making any sense.

Also, I usually don't watch the previews. I watch television ON THE EDGE.

  8. Next week is supposed to be one of the better episodes of this season. Richard flashback ftw

Those of you near Santa Monica, Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof - the creators running the show - will be at the Apple Store tomorrow from 6 pm - 7 pm talking about the final season.

    I'll be there.

  10. Meh but not nearly the worst episode this season. Par for the shitty course, really. The one real bright spot was all in my head but I'll share it anyway. I'd noticed that most all the sideways shit had nowhere that it had to go. Very self contained, no reason to revisit it later, etc. This worried me that the idea floating around that we're watching the individual character epilogues as we march to a "reset button" ending carried some real weight. Last night's was less so, so I still have hope we'll get a real ending. Whether it's one I enjoy or not I'd still prefer it to a reset.

So I forced my hands in my pockets and felt with my thumbs and gallantly handed her my very last piece of gum.
