I agree with Dave on the writing taking a major turn for the worse after season 4.

I'd say season 4 was the start, mostly because I still don't understand (or care about) why they had to go back, Kate. The last three seasons suffered for trying to make sense out of the fuckawesome season 3 finale.

But even though 4 was the beginning of the end, it was still a ton better than what came next. And it had The Constant.

Yeah, I was going to say that the show started sucking after the awesome S3 finale - but then I remembered the best episode ever made was in S4.
