For those of wanting some more info to take a stab at who bites it, here's a spoiler from that homo on TVGuide.com:

# 02/23 - One of these [6] will die before Episode 9: Jin, Sun, Faraday, Desmond, Juliet, Sawyer. Source: Lost Spoilers
# 02/23 - [The major character dying] is an original 815er. And as far as major Lost deaths go, this one veers from tradition in one significant way. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

At this point, can only be Jin or Sawyer.

I am sure its not Sawyer or Desmond.

My bet is on Jin, Michael and Claire.

They wouldn't do Desmond. With how much emotion and build up they have tied into his and Penny's relationship, anything less than a huge confrontation/reunion would waste it. I can't see that happening any time before season 6. As soon as this reunion happens, Desmond is toast.

Jin would be the cop out:
This past episode: "Hey, he died somehow"
Next episode: "Here's how"
Lost, the masters of leaving us hanging, would not just go for the gold right here and now.

IMO the killable major characters at this point in time are Jin, Claire, Juliet and Sawyer.

Of those the biggest surprises would be Juliet and Sawyer IMO.

Nope, that was never implied. The He that Kate referred to was Aaron.

At this point, can only be Jin or Sawyer.

That source is way off, because Sun is seen(having her baby) in a hospital off of the island. Faraday and Desmond are tied together with the time aspect, so there's no way they are going to kill off either character.
