Such a newb The timer counts up in minesweeper (on the right side). What counts down is the number of undiscovered mines that remain (on the left side).

The timer counts up very evenly. So it still could be legit.

A few years back, I knew this kid who could beat novice, moderate, and expert is 5, 10 and 90 seconds respectively. the fact that he dropped out of school and didn't do anything but play Minesweeper for a year probably helped a bit.
