Thread: Treasure Art Book...but Not Really

  1. Treasure Art Book...but Not Really

No not the head of Sega AM2, apparently one of the freelance artists who worked for Treasure is getting his own artbook, complete with Sin/Punishment and Ikaruga art. Thanks to www.insertcredit.com for the news.

Come on, how appropriate is that? Admit it.

That is interesting...Have you had your interview with him yet?

Do you know how old he is Frog? I remember we translated that S&P guide once and I thought he was in his early twenties.

  6. I think he's in his late 20s or early 30s. Not quite sure. It says he greaduated from art school in 1997, so I'm thinking he's got to be around 30.

The interview should be up in a couple weeks.

Insert credit did one, too. wtf@asking "What was up with that guy on the menus screen of Ikaruga" That was the main character...

  8. I am disappointed that he didn't mention some of his favorite artists, although I'm glad you asked Frog. The IC interview is horrible.

Yeah, Frog's is definitely better than "why do you draw swords alot".

Can't wait for this book and very happy it's even getting a US release. I remember reading in another thread that the Okami artbook is getting released here, quality stuff. *-neo

  10. Where does "Can't HUE" fit into all this?
