Good multi purpose USB wifi?

It says PSP on the box but it clearly states "Connect other Wi-Fi devices, including notebooks and consoles." in the description. I've heard good things about it but at that price you can just get a wireless router.

That's what I'm using and it gets the job done. It's not the best, sometimes I have to do a quick unplug/replug to bring it back to life when my PC goes into sleep mode, but for the most part it does exactly what it's supposed to.

Anyways, I'll just get an access point or I'll just do this:

Switch to WPA-PSK, that uses a pre-shared key to initiate communication, and subsequent transmissions are encrypted using a derivative of the key; it's more secure. Switch to WPA-PSK (using TKCIP) and use a slightly shorter key.
