I can usually enjoy even a mediocre FPS, but Far Cry couldn't hold my attention at all. It's just not any fun.

I really didn't like the first Far Cry. It was kind of generic and boring. Plus people on boats and up in the mountains thousands of miles away could snipe you with a handgun, and there were like 2 sniper rifles in the game. Then by the end it was stupid and unfair with like a hundred giant dudes in one area. I beat it but didn't really see what made the game good.

Far Cry was a lot of things, but generic wasn't one of them. I'm not sure it really holds up, but it was pretty different at least.

Score for Dead Rising 2! Fuck game stories. The bosses in 1 were nothing to really write home about either.
