I picked up Frozen Synapse awhile back after I read your initial post. Messed around with it a bit.. excepted a challenge. Killed two of the guys four on the first turn and he never came back. Lame. Another one was a battle where you had to designate ground you would get to on a field. I killed 3 of his 4 and only lost one with most of my guys 75% across the map and the turns ended without me getting far enough.

It's pretty great from what little I played. I seriously simulated just about every move the guy could make and countered everything before submitting my first turn in the first game. Also my shotgunner was stuck at the bottom of the map in a doorless room. I just had him pull up to some window to cover an escape route. Like I said.. I killed two of his men on the first go without losing any.. and he never came back. haha

Looks like euro steam gamers will be playing Duke Nukem Forever in about an hour..lol Forget they are getting it first so at least we should have lots of reviews, impressions and screens from the full game in a couple of hours.

Okay, I think I've been sold on Frozen Synapse. I'm itching to try it out now. It looks like Steam only sells the game in a two-pack. Awkward... anyone that'd care to go in on a copy?
