It's funny that it's something to complain about, considering how much better it still is than the sales on console platforms. Steam really set the bar high these last couple of years.
No doubt. We're absolutely spoiled, and the deals that happened were still pretty good. It's just that the variety didn't seem to be there. Although, thanks to Steamworks, I was able to grab Sleeping Dogs, Gianna Sisters, Scribblenauts, etc. for less than they were on Steam and still register them.
edit: I'm also willing to admit that most of my ire at this point is due to the fact that I gambled that Steam would have The Secret World for $14.99 or less with the exclusive items and passed on the $12.99 Amazon sale. Obviously this falls under my own damn fault. I'm now seemingly left with a choice between $22.49 and waiting longer. The fact that I have $36 and change in my Steam wallet may impact this decision.

It's not really worth it. I like that it's a modern setting and I guess it has that Ragnar Tornquist dialogue, but MMO.
Yeah, but I liked the free weekend whenever that was, and it's F2P now, so the risk is super low. Plus, I'm like Mech; MMO is not a dirty acronym to me. And since TOR's expansion is digital (read: Origin) only, I can't go back there ever.

Annoyed that Giana Sisters wasn't voted for the last community game (wanted to gift it to a pal on the cheap)...Torchlight 2 for the billionth time! oy! I picked up Sine Mora at GMG for a cool 2 bucks.
I have steam keys for Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, Metro 2033, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, Darksiders 1 and Red Faction Guerrilla (which I think isn't sold on steam anymore for some reason) and would like to trade them for some cheapo indie games (seems to be a bunch for less than 5 bucks...even Hell Yea is like 3 bucks). Doubt there is any interest in them but it doesn't hurt to ask before the sale ends.

I knocked like 10 games off my wishlist, and it would've been more like 20 if not for me working so little these days. Successful sales all around IMO.
