Awesome! I'm about halfway through hard so far, so I'll easily play enough of that to get them naturally.
edit: I don't think I'm going to buy much else. The AAA stuff I don't have is still more than I want to pay, since I haven't finished the predecessors for Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Metro, etc., and I am waiting for bundles on all the indie stuff.

There are some flaws in the trading card system. I got all my DmC drops in a few hours. Now I need to wait for a booster pack, but booster packs are dependent on crafting which nobody is doing. Everybody is selling.
Drops should reset, maybe tying it to cheevo percentage or something. I know Valve addressed that by saying they want to make it really casual and stuff, but maybe they should reconsider. A guy that goes for 100% in a game probably wants a full badge and to do that they need to spend a bunch of time in the market.

I agree completely. Anything that encourages AFK activity is not well designed.

Far Cry 3 is a completely original story, so I wouldn't worry about having not finished 1 or 2.
