  1. DuckTales up for pre-purchase for 15 bucks. Comes out in a bit over a week. ..and hey..I have almost 6 bucks in my steam wallet thanks to those silly steam cards which I can use for the game! Thanks for buying my junk steam community!

  2. DuckTales can fuck right off. The NES game looks and sounds just fine.

It does, but this is a chance to support more remakes or re-releases of licensed games never or no longer available.

  4. Maybe the remake will be good! Same with the remade Castle of Illusion which looks pretty good to me. I can always play the originals but I hope the remakes are good.

  5. I feel pretty much the same about Castle of Illusion. Ain't broke.

  6. Anyone use a 120 Hz PC monitor for gaming? I am probably going to buy one and was wondering if anyone uses one, how much better is it over a 60 Hz display and if VSync is off do you ever notice any tearing.

  7. anyone who is using a tv built in the past 2 years is using one, if that helps.

  8. That's not exactly the same as actually showing 120fps video.

  9. Rayman Legends is up for pre-purchase on steam for 40 bucks and you get Rayman Origins if you buy it before release. I wonder if Legends will be DRM free (outside of steam) like Origins. It doesn't say yet. I won't buy it until I know for sure.

As for 120hz monitors.. I have a 144hz monitor (Asus VG248QE) and there is certainly more smoothness to the desktop. I haven't noticed any tearing so far in games though I admit that my pc's innards are old so I don't get high fps in many modern games (I'm lucky to reach 60 fps with my hardware). I am doing my big upgrade next month so maybe then I'll experience 144hz gameplay...I hope.

  10. Just fire up Quake or anything that can hit maximum fps on just about anything.
