I'm pissed about the 1060, I was gonna pick one up in the fall, but the price is going up instead of down.

You guys with the GTX 1070 GPU might want to think about selling it and using the money for a free upgrade. Cryptocurrency mining has made the price of those cards skyrocket to the price of a 1080. It's somehow a better miner than the 1080 and 1080Ti, and even the once affordable 1060 is selling near $300.

Maybe in a few months you can buy a spent card for cheap. How much would you trust a miner card?

I wouldn't trust them. The thermal paste would be dried up from constant excessive heat and the VRMs would be suspect.
The AMD 290 is near worthless on the used market, because of its reputation as a mining card.
My EVGA 1080 Classified is waiting for something to challenge it. I plan on getting a 144hz 1440p monitor soon.
