i was doing some reading and Field of View seems to be a culprit. im going to lower that and see how it goes.
it sucks because teh game is fun as shit. but the stuttering is annoying. so far Wolf and Titanfall are the only games to have any stuttering. and Titanfall could just be net issues as my desktop has a horrible wifi connection.

I recommend downloading Real temp and CPU-Z
Open up CPU-Z and take note of your core speed. Open up Real Temp and run xs bunch while you have CPU-Z opened up next to it. You should see the core speed of your CPU boosting above 4 Ghz. If all of that checks out, then I would suggest downloading MSI Afterburner to check out the temps and clock speed of your GPU. Your GPU should perform pretty close to my EVGA GTX 670 FTW and your CPU should perform better than my 2500k. Titanfall and Wolfenstein should run butter smooth, unless you are exceeding the VRAM of the GPU, or your CPU is stuck in a power save mode.

Started messing with Infinite Crisis, the DC moba. Never really played a moba before but it seems interesting. Started with this one because the tutorial was said to be good. Anyone else gonna give it a go?

Yeah, I don't think it tries to do anything besides add a license. It's not as casual and new player friendly as HOTS, doesn't try to be as intricate as the two staples, and doesn't try anything new like Strife. It's just kind of there.
I might try it because, hey, it's free, but I'm still waiting on the real successor to Guilty Gear 2.
