Are you seriously using Resistance to proclaim the power of the PS3? No doubt the game looks good, but I was seriosly dissapointed with it after hearing how amazing it was supposed to look. Some of the textures in that game were horrific and even Gears running in 1080p makes that game look like PD0 (ok I'm exagerating a bit, but it was nowhere near as good as it could have looked).
