The Bad Photoshop DVD Cover Thread

I've noticed that a lot of crap direct-to-video movies have equally crappy Photoshop jobs done on this covers. There are many offenders in this regard but the current king of this trend is overweight and aging action star Steven Segal. Let's take us a look-see at some of his recent DVD covers…


It seems that someone decided that the sight of Steven Segal calming walking down a street wearing a leather dress while a car he no doubt destroyed is burning like Hiroshima behind him wasn't intimidating enough, so they decided to poorly photoshop a machine gun (complete with grenade launcher) strapped around his torso just to punch up his bad-assedness. Gay, especially the phony strap.


Okay, it's easier to see when you're looking at the DVD case in your hand, but if you look closely, you'll notice that someone has photoshopped an actual jawline onto the pudgy Segal. But what's even funnier is that the jawline they gave him is impossibly sharp and angular. I mean, look at that fucking chin, it's hilarious. He looks like an alien.


Oddly enough, the IMDB says Attack Force was made in 2006, the very same year this picture was taken! Notice any difference…?

This is hardly limited to direct-to-video DVD covers. There was a recent article somewhere comparing the usually-excellent movie posters to the "just throw the stars' faces on there" DVD covers, and the difference in quality was pretty painful. I'll post a link to the article if I find it.

But anyway, as to the original sentiment of the thread:

Big money hustlers was so terrible its hilarous. I had a friend who'd make us watch that over and over,just to laugh at the fat lady at the bar segment.
