Well, the super awesome Phillies prospect (or at least was supposed to be) Kyle Drabek will have Tommy John surgery this week, done by the Mets physician no less. I never really liked the kids attitude but he was supposed to be really good but hasn't been very successful since he was drafted.

It turns out the minor league arm is Jeff Kennard. He was a 40th round pick in 2000 (he's about to turn 26) and he's got a career 3.01 ERA at A and AA. Scouting reports call him a poor man's Scott Proctor. It appears to be a personnel dump on both sides (the Yankees system is stocked with far better and younger arms and the Angels already have two backup catchers).
