I don't ever remember a damn thing this guy has said before but I can tell you that I'm going to start following him now.
This man has many strong ideas that "make sense" for the industry. I feel that it is foolish the way the game industry tries to follow in the footsteps of other entertainment business when the model is completely different. Just because "it works! somehow...", doesn't mean it's a path that games should continue following.
