Here are a couple of high-def shots of the game (courtesy of GameSpot) for those who haven't seen them. "Properly drawn" or not, the game looks gorgeous to me. For those who don't dig the new look, there will be an option to play the game using the original sprites, so everyone wins.

I am just worried that the pretty visuals will move like they are put together poorly in flash. Probably worried for nothing.

The original ryu sprite outclasses the new one in every way. That animation is atrocious.

I've decided I hate this game anyway. The more I think about it, the more I really think everyone are assholes for needing to spend millions of dollars to make an HD version of the same goddamn game. Fuck you, and fuck your new TV. Unless you're really just interested in this for the gameplay tweaks, in which case fine... but those weren't even originally in the plan
